Partnerships in Health,
providing health education and training for the countries of
Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Partnerships in Health
is implementing the Western
Balkans HIV and AIDS programme supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida)
in the following countries:

The programme
consists of two main components:

Prevention: to support
local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in building
their capacity to implement results-driven HIV/AIDS
prevention programmes.

Care and Support: to
develop the capacity of countries to train specialists
and primary care providers in improving knowledge,
skills and attitudes towards early diagnosis and
clinical management of HIV/AIDS; reduce stigma and
discrimination; and improve prevention through workplace
safety programmes.
